We know the ache of saying goodbye, and sadly, so do our children. Both our children in Haiti and our children here with us know the sorrow that goodbyes bring, but we pray and pray and pray that they also know the hope that we all cling to during these difficult times. What an amazing blessing to have crossed paths with you while in Haiti. I was so encouraged to see you there with your son. It didn't even cross my mind until I saw Frankie that we would see anyone 's children (whose blogs I read) to take photos to pass along. Then to see you moments later . . . God has such a beautiful personal way of encouraging each of us. I do pray that your sweet times together will serve to lift your heart in encouragement and hope. It doesn't get easier - no matter how many times you go through it. I don't know which is worse - last trip D cried & carried on, just like your Frankie did; last week when I left, he just sat there - very quiet & stoical. Both reactions ripped my heart out. What great news!!! Seems like IBESR has finally started to move again! We just got out too but also found out our paperwork is on hold until we get to PAP, Haiti to sign in front of the judge :( We can't get there til Jan, so we are basically losing 2 months where our paperwork will not enter parquet. This was not the news we had hoped to hear :( Anyway, at least we are all one step closer to bringing our little ones home!!!!! Yippeeeeee! What great news!!! Seems like IBESR has finally started to move again!
