Just got an email today from Shelley Tlucek from Heartline. Our friend Roger to Haiti next week and will be able to visit Frankie. We’ve been trying to get some details together. In the process, here is what she said…
“Frankie lays down for his nap with his photo album – it is very sweet. I’ve got some pictures from when his gifts were delivered through Kelly a couple of weeks ago. As soon as we sort out the emailing part – I’ll send them to you. “
Apparently he is sleeping at nap time with our photo book we created for him. This hits my heart because as you all know Frankie and Izzie are very close in age. Izzie a bit older. Right now, Izzie is really into taking a book to bed to sleep with. And every morning she leaves her crib clutching her book. It gives me a picture of what Frankie may be doing as well.
We had some concerns at first of Izzie and Frankie being too close in age to each other but I am finding out daily what a true blessing it has become. As I think about all my kids everyday and Frankie as well I get a better understanding of what he is doing since Izzie is doing just about the same things. Izzie is at a stage of loving books – and well it’s good to hear that Frankie is as well.
I may not be there watching Frankie learn and discover new things these next few years but as Izzie ventures into her own world of discovery you better believe I’ll be thinking about Frankie as well and enjoying him from a distance through Izzie. 
Sounds like he really likes the book. That is really sweet.
